Description

The company PS Printservice GmbH is looking for an IT system administrator as soon as possible. We are a medium-sized, owner-managed family business in the field of surface finishing. As a supplier to the food packaging industry, we paint and print steel and aluminum sheets, most of which are further processed into crown caps and screw caps.

Responsibility / Main Tasks

Your area of responsibility includes the following activities:

  • Installation, operation, support, and further development of the heterogeneous IT infrastructure, consisting of local components and cloud services
  • Maintenance and administration of physical and virtual servers and clients
  • Improvement of existing support processes
  • Participation in the conceptualization and implementation of IT projects, as well as the introduction of new systems
  • Consulting and implementation of IT solutions for the respective application areas in collaboration with project teams
Qualifications / Requirements

You should bring the following:

  • Completed education and work experience
  • Practical experience in building and operating complex IT infrastructures in a Windows environment
  • Experience and knowledge in network operations
  • Good knowledge in several of the following areas: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Backup
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methods and to implement them practically
  • Team and communication skills, as well as a structured and independent working style
  • Knowledge in the following areas:
    • Server infrastructure: Windows Server [2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 R2]
    • Client infrastructure: Windows [11, 10, 8.1, 7]
    • Virtualization: VMware
    • Network/IT Security: Firewall, VPN
    • Data and storage networks: LAN, WLAN, WAN, SAN
    • Programming languages: PowerShell
