Prepress

Prepress is a process that precedes the actual print production. All preparatory work takes place in prepress, such as agreements with customers, visualizations of the planned product, color selection and color adjustments, and the print-specific preparation of customer data. In addition to digital design approval with 3D visualization, the customer receives a sample for each closure, for example as a proof on the original substrate. If customer requirements do require a more specific color, we mix it precisely according to the recipe in our digital color kitchen. Approval is given here by a roll-out or a produced sample closure. All the different systems work together like clockwork using our specially defined color profiles. In addition, by developing specifications and guidelines, prepress is also part of the final production step, quality assurance.
